We arrived Cozumel, Mexico on Monday, November 22, 2010. Before exiting the cruise, we swiped our ID cards that included our passports, personal information, etc. The security guards stopped us and asked who we were and what room number we were staying because we were on the "special requests" list. After providing our information, we exited and got amazed by another cruise called Carnival Liberty. Walking down the pier, my husband and I showed our room key cards and ID cards the security guards at the end of the pier. We found our tour guide at the end of the pier and followed them to the ferry. We boarded the ferry and it took us about 45 to one hour to arrive Playa de Carmen, Mexico. While on board, I could not believe what I saw. A security guard tried to sell some alcoholic beverages and beer on the ferry. Some passengers did not feel very well because they got seasick and puked. No one really bought drinks at all. I saw some passengers getting a little wet when the water splashed on the boat. They rolled up the window to prevent splashes. We finally arrived Playa de Carmen and then struggled to park for a few minutes due to strong winds. After 15 minutes, the boat was finally parked and anchored to the side of the pier. When we got off the ferry, a ramp rocked up and down as we carefully walked down the ramp. Finally, we found our tour guide who waved and showed the sign "Xcaret." That was our shore excursion thing to do for fun!
